Bows and Arrows

  • Wildlings Forest School (map)

Let us teach you the art of whittling!

You can create your own bows and arrows out of local weed species like Chinese Elm or Ochna. We will use round-tip pen knives to skillfully remove the outer bark and sharpen your arrows. Children will have full (supervised) use of our hand tools (including saws and hand drills) to create quivers to hold their arrows. We will craft and decorate bows and test our creations in our forest 'shooting range’ as you become a modern-day Robin Hood or Wolf Girl.
