Come and celebrate Spring with us!
Join us for a full day session (9am - 4pm) where children will create cubbies, whittle weapons for imaginary play, use loose natural parts to craft to their hearts content, play and explore the beautiful creek-bed and build rafts to float in the creek!
During this session, children will have supervised use of our hand tools including saws, hammers, hand drills, whittling knives and fire strikers. They will choose from a myriad of natural resources to inspire their imagination, encourage problem solving and engage their fine motor skills as they are given autonomy to explore and observe the natural world. Together we will build, manage and cook on our very own campfire. Enjoy a hot chocolate boiled in the Kelly Kettle, roast marshmallows in the flames and cook damper in the hot coals.
Session Cost: $110 per child (BYO lunch, snacks and water)
Location: 3 Youth Ave, Burnside (Park at the PCYC and walk along the oval)
