Forest Kindy aims to help your child build their confidence, resilience and individuality by encouraging child-led, adventure play experiences within our Forest School.
During this program you will find children:
Climbing trees & playing in Fresh Water Creeks
Using children’s hand tools such as: hand drills, pen knives, flints & hammers
Working with Natural Elements like fire & water
Building self directed projects with natural resources
Identifying local flora and fauna
Having first hand experience with weather patterns & seasonal changes
Learning how to communicate, problem solve and negotiate with other children
Learning to trust their natural ‘gut’ instincts
Our Forest School Leaders and trained Early Years Educators will gently guide your child to have body autonomy, build their resilience and develop a sense of belonging within our Forest School.
