During this open-air play session your children will have full access to:

Hand saws, drills, hammers and an endless supply of upcycled materials

This thrilling playground of loose parts will be the foundations of an enriching and memorable school holidays for you and your little City Makers!

What exactly do children do at this event?

There is no 'set' activity but rather we allow your children the time, space and tools to develop hands-on learning experiences with multiple weird and wonderful loose parts.

Everything from milk crates to pvc pipes.

Your children will play, explore and undertake supported “risk taking” by using hand tools to build their own miniature city.

This learning environment is completely guided by your children and observed by yourself as the parent/carer and our qualified Adventure Play Staff.

Do parents attend?

Yes, this is a family friendly event.

Parental supervision is required when children are using hand tools but you are also encourage to sit back on your picnic blanket and watch the children's city come to life before your eyes!

WHAT AGE IS THIS SESSION FOR?

All children aged from toddler to twelve (12) are welcome to this session.

We believe peer-led play is vital for children. It let's the natural leaders teach others AND it’s how our younger children figure out their place in the world/our city!

All children play and learn at a different pace; however, your level of involvement as their guardian may be higher with under the age of five (5) years.

WHAT do i need to bring?

Please ensure your children have closed-in shoes and sun protection (this is an open air event).

Make sure you pack enough water, mosquito spray, yummy snacks and something comfortable to sit on.

How much does it cost?

Each two hour session will be $8 per child. Adults and babies attend at no cost.
