How to Nurture your Little Earthling with Pennie Brownlee

In this episode, we’re talking with Pennie Brownlee, from Dance with Me in the Heart about heavy world content in the context of children’s perspective, a child’s true nature and how the classroom is stifling, the beauty of bare feet and the three most important bonds in a child’s life.

When I grow up, I want to be just like Pennie. Mother, grandmother, photographer, artist, teacher, facilitator, author, book publisher, advocate for parents, and a big kid at heart. She is a fierce, and to use a Kiwi term, staunch advocate for children and has for a long time been one of my inspirations as an educator from whom I have learnt so much over the past decade.

Pennie I got stuck straight into our conversation and I didn’t want to miss a second so hit record without doing an official intro. So you’ll hear us jump straight into conversation. It felt like I was sitting in Pennie’s living room today and we were just trying to solve all the world’s problems. I hope you enjoy our conversation today as much as I did.
