Let’s explore nature’s canvas.
Our eco arts session focuses on child-led crafting activities, adventure play and self discovery in our Forest School. These sessions are designed to inspire imagination, mindfulness and creativity. In this session, children will be invited to explore using yarn and natural fibres. They will:
- create God's eyes from sticks and colourful yarn
- expand on this this technique to create mandalas within the weave
- weave nature crowns from invasive vines
- create simple looms using sticks
- learn to sustainably harvest and use natural resources for simple weaving projects
- create necklaces in knotted macrame style pockets

INVESTMENT:
$51 per child
AGE:
7-15 year olds.
- Children under 7 years of age are welcome to join at the regular price under the supervision of a guardian.
- Children under 3 years of age attending with an older sibling and under the supervision of a guardian free of charge.
